What’s cooking this March?

Find out what's in season this March

I’m so glad we made it in March. The days are already getting longer and I love how the spring sunshine lights up our kitchen. We even spied some fresh green daffodil leaves in the neighbor’s yard yesterday. We just got back from a week in sunny Maui (Grace was delighted to see the waves on the beach!), and we’re recovering from some of the cold we brought with us.

Asparagus is on its way and we will finally have more fresh fruits and vegetables to work with this month. I am looking forward to cooking my favorite green curry soon, shown below. You will find more seasonal recipes in this post!

“I always look for recipes that have a lot of vegetables in them so this is perfect for me. This was my first time cooking with asparagus, fresh parsley and scallions (I confused the shallots with the scallions. They’re both like onions so I was close!) My favorite thing about this recipe was the added flavor of the lemon juice and my last favorite was the parsley. Big bite that I took! Thanks so much!” – Lonnie
