Veg of Lond secures Swedish patent protection for “unique” potato ice cream – Vegan

Swedish plant-based food company Londre VegDUG Drinks parent company – Announcing new patent approval for a “Unique” ice cream that combines potatoes, rapeseed oil and a vegetable protein emulsion.

Ice cream segment

The company intends to expand the range of plant-based dairy products sold under the DUG brand. Frederick Carling, DUG’s CEO, revealed in a recent interview with NPD that vegans using the company’s patented potato-powered emulsion plan to reach consumers in 2023.
