Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli announced that its premium plant-based deli meats are now sold at Sprouts Farmers Markets across the United States. The Mark Cuban-backed company plans to launch in thousands more retail locations this year and ranks as one of Instacart’s fastest-growing brands in 2022.

Founded by Jenny Goldfarb, Unreal creates a line of corned beef, roasted turkey and steak lunch ‘meats’ that recreate the experience of enjoying a traditional New York-style deli sandwich. After securing an investment from Shark Tank in 2019, Goldfarb launched Unreal’s product line in thousands of US retail and foodservice locations, including Publix, Whole Foods, Ralph’s, Wegmans and ShopRite.
Entering Sprout, a company spokesperson said the brand’s retail presence will reach a total of 3,600 natural and mainstream grocers by 2023. Also, this year, the company plans to launch new products and add its meat to 500 university menus, while Unreal executive vice president Steve Gross notes that Unreal Deli ranks as one of Instacart’s fastest-growing brands in 2022.
From Costco to Publix Deli
