Caesar Drink Recipe
The Bloody Caesar is a clam-infused Canadian cocktail, a variation of the Bloody Mary. It’s distinguished by the use of Clamato juice (a blend of clam and tomato juices) instead of straight tomato juice, giving it a unique and savory flavor profile.
Classically garnished with a celery stick and a lime wedge, this drink is a popular choice for brunch and is frequently touted as a hangover remedy.

How To Make
If you like your Bloody Caesar Mix ice-cold, don’t just throw the ingredients over ice. It won’t be as cold AND it’s more apt to get watered down.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and throw in all the other ingredients and shake away. Then throw it in an ice-filled tall glass.

Mixologist Tips
- Before you pour the drink in a glass, taste it to see if anything needs to be adjusted. Add extra vodka, horseradish, etc., to taste.
- Make it a Spicy Dirty Caesar by adding extra hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- Hosting and want to make a huge batch to save time? Throw all the ingredients into a large pitcher and pour over ice, once ready to serve. Keep the same proportions as a single drink.
Booze Choices
While vodka is traditional, if you’re looking to mix things up, try using tequila, gin, bourbon or beer!
Caesar vs Bloody Mary
What is the difference between a Bloody Mary vs Bloody Caesar? A Caesar and a Bloody Mary are both savory cocktails primarily distinguished by their base ingredients and regional popularity.
The Caesar is made primarily with vodka and Clamato. In contrast, a Bloody Mary, more popular in the United States, is typically made with vodka and plain tomato juice.
Both are seasoned with Worcestershire sauce and spices, and garnished with a variety of different ingredients.
