A dessert heavenly, soft, slightly chewy and now without flour or refined sugar. I’m pretty sure I hit the jackpot with this dessert!

When my husband is away on business, I like to try as many recipes as possible. I don’t want to bother him with all these new recipe ideas while he’s at home. But I know when he sees this recipe he’ll be mad he missed it.
If I had to choose between the two of us, my husband would definitely be the dessert lover. So I’m sure those blondes would have gained some points in his book.

My prescription for Flourless blondies is a great option for anyone with a gluten allergy or someone who doesn’t like chocolate. (I know this may seem crazy, but there are people who don’t like chocolate.)
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 1 16oz can of chickpeas
- ⅓ cup natural maple syrup
- ⅓ cup natural crunchy peanut butter
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
Did I mention this recipe is flour and refined sugar free? I did? Okay, I just wanted to make sure… I didn’t want anyone to miss this part.

HOW DO I MAKE FLOWERLESS BLONDIES?
To make them, open and empty 1 16 oz. can of chickpeas. Place the chickpeas in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Next, add the following ingredients and pulse a few more times.
- ⅓ cup natural maple syrup
- ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- ½ teaspoon salt

Once the ingredients are well mixed, pour the batter into a prepared baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30-35 minutes. Carefully remove the pan from the oven and let cool.

Move over brownies, these Flourless blondies are the new treat in town.
