Why we LOVE this Strawberry and Cream Oatmeal

We love oatmeal at our house and have a few oatmeal recipes on regular rotation. But this one is special for several reasons. First, it comes together super quickly on the stovetop. As much as we love our baked oatmeal recipes, they take a little extra time. Second, it’s the perfect recipe to use up on strawberries that we sometimes find in the corner of the fridge. Don’t throw them next time! Mash those berries with some milk and whip up those oatmeal with strawberries and cream.

And finally… it’s so satisfyingly delicious. The sweet, fresh taste of strawberries and cream is something we never tire of. By pureeing the berries and cooking the oats directly in the strawberry milk, you get that delicious berry flavor in every bite of oatmeal. So simple but so delicious. You can adjust the sugar if needed depending on how sweet your berries are.
