As much as I love croissant rolls, I’ve never tried making them myself. I usually choose the simplest option.
If you’re feeling a little adventurous, try making these easy homemade croissants. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much more delicious they are. Much better than taking them out of the can!

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup butter – cold, cut into small cubes
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup of water
- 1 egg
These buns are soft, fluffy and the perfect addition to any meal.
HOW TO MAKE EASY HOMEMADE CROISSANTS:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast and salt.
Add butter to the dry ingredients. Use either a cookie cutter or two knives to cut the butter until small pieces remain.


In a separate bowl or cup, mix together the milk, water, and egg. Add to the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and fold in thirds. Turn and fold the dough again. Repeat the process a few more times. Then chill the dough for another 20 minutes.

Halve the dough and roll out into long rectangles. Cut the dough into small triangles and roll out into crescents.
Place on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
