Notes on ingredients
cabbage is the main ingredient in this recipe! Frying the cabbage without oil first will roast the edges, giving it a slightly smoky flavor.
Leek Add a sweet herbal flavor that is unique. Feel free to substitute with shallots or yellow onions.
Ginger goes so well with cabbage, don’t skip the ginger!

Step one- In a well-heated hot wok, stir-fry cabbage without oil for 3-5 minutes, until some edges are lightly charred.

step two- Push the cabbage to the edges of the wok. Add the avocado oil, leeks, ginger and garlic and sauté in the center of the wok for 1-2 minutes until the leeks have wilted.

step three- Add salt and sesame oil, soy sauce, mirin and rice vinegar. Stir everything together until warmed through. Add green onions and cilantro.
