“Only” plant chicken with 30% protein

Founded in 2019 by Reena Sharma and Gaurav Sharma to create sustainable meat alternatives, Shandi Global uses a five-patented process to recreate a plant-based product that it says feels almost like meat and reacts to cooking.

The food technology company uses enzymes for a meaty flavor, high-moisture extrusion for dynamic tenderness, and an organic chemistry to remove unwanted plant protein flavors. Founders Claims its plant-based chicken has 30% protein content, equivalent to chicken, made with natural, non-GMO ingredients such as pea protein, chickpeas, quinoa, hemp seeds, brown rice and coconut oil.

“When we developed our plant-based Meat Forever, our goal was to provide a tasty and sustainable alternative to traditional foods. We wanted to create something that not only tasted great, but also had a positive impact on the planet. With Forever, we believe we have done just that,” Shandi Global shared on social media.
