Ingredients in Rotel Dip
This rotel dip recipe, aka ugly dip, is a game day favorite that’s made with just a few ingredients. Similar to queso dip, this recipe is a quick and easy snack.
- Rotel tomatoes: A can of Rotel tomatoes adds a lot of flavor and a little bit of spiciness. Any type of salsa can be substituted for rotel.
- Meat: We love ground beef in this recipe, but swap it out for ground turkey or sausage.
- Cheese: Velveeta makes this dip quick and easy (and super creamy). Cream cheese with a little cheddar is a great substitute.
- Spices: I add a pinch of chilli powder. You can also add taco seasoning or your favorite seasonings to the meat if you like, or use leftover taco ground beef.
