Here I share another one of my rice cooker recipes that is easy to make, flavorful and delicious. It’s a very simple rice dish for everyday meals.
Ingredients: 2 servings

1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced/julienned
150g minced pork
5 pieces dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked and discarding the water
1 cup of rice
1 & 1/2 cup water/the reserved mushroom water
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp mirin/rice wine
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
Some oil for cooking
Marinade:
1 tsp tapioca flour
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp fish sauce
Pinch of white pepper

Method:
1. Mix pork and marinade ingredients together and let marinate for 30 minutes. Heat some oil, fry ginger, marinated pork and mushrooms stir-fry. (Optional: Add a pinch of salt and pepper if needed.)
