Overnight oats are one of the easiest and healthiest breakfast options out there. Oatmeal is brimming with heart healthy full grain and dietary fiber while the milk gives the dish protein and tons of vitamins and minerals. Any additives add more aromas, flavors and textures to the breakfast.

How to open a pistachio
If you’ve ever eaten a pistachio, you know that cracking open a pistachio is one whole work. To quell the urge to never touch a pistachio again, I found a few different ways to open those pesky pistachios that seem to be glued shut!
- For some, the shell can be easily opened with your fingers
- Nutcrackers aren’t just for walnuts – use a nutcracker!
- Place a handful on a secure work surface and cover with a towel. Use a hammer (or something similar) to hit it. just enough pressure on the nuts
- Use an empty shell from another nut to pry it open
If all else fails, next time be sure to buy a packet of pre-cracked pistachios. Yes, there are- lol!

Health benefits of overnight oats with pistachios
pistachios are such a underestimated Mother. Unlike other nuts, one serving is pistachios a lot of greater. Instead of having a handful of almonds, you could have 49 pistachios. What is that? Like 3 handfuls?!
In this serving size you get 3g fiber and 6g dietary fiber. That’s a decent amount for a small snack!
Pistachios are also a great tool lowering your cholesterol. One study found that replacing some of your calories with pistachios may help lower your cholesterol levels. In fact, 67% of the participants in this study reduced their LDL (bad) and increased their HDL (good) cholesterol. That’s great!

Mix all ingredients in a container with a lid. Shake well.

Place container in refrigerator overnight. When ready to eat, you can eat from the jar or spoon into a bowl.

Optional: add more toppings! This could be more pistachio, sliced banana, dried apricots, agave, or anything else you love!
