what you will need

Ingredient Notes
- Yogurt- Full-fat plain yogurt is what you need for this recipe to get the right flavorful flavor and thick texture.
- Peanut butter- Any brand of creamy peanut butter. Just give it a good stir if it’s the natural variety.
- Honey- This is the sweetener, any kind will work.
Add-Ins and Substitutions
- Replace the honey Instead of honey, use maple syrup as a sweetener, which gives the dish a slightly different flavor.
- add cinnamon- Give it a little warm spice and add cinnamon.
- Make it dairy free – Replace the yogurt with plain, plant-based yogurt to make it suitable even for those who can’t eat dairy.
- Replace with another nut butter. Instead of the peanut butter, try almond butter, cashew butter, or hazelnut butter.
How to make peanut butter yogurt dip
- Assemble the ingredients. In a large glass bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, creamy peanut butter, and honey.
- Combine. Mix all ingredients with an electric hand mixer. Serve with freshly sliced apples or other fruit, pretzels and crackers.
Pro Tip: Spray your scoop with oil before adding the honey so it can flow easily into the bowl and mix in.

recipe tips
- Use creamy peanut butter. You should use a creamy peanut butter as the coarse consistency doesn’t lend itself to this smooth and creamy dip.
- Make sure the yogurt is full fat and Greek. Greek yogurt is thicker than regular yogurt and the full fat adds extra creaminess, making this dip extra delicious.
- Use fresh honey. As the honey sits, it will begin to crystallize. Therefore, use fresh honey that is still liquid to keep the dip smooth.
- Mix with an electric hand mixer – Peanut butter is particularly difficult to mix by hand. Therefore, use the electric mixer to thoroughly mix the ingredients.
FAQs
If your yogurt is on the thin side, you can thicken it with some cornstarch. Mix the cornstarch with water to a paste, then mix with the yogurt. This won’t affect the flavor, but will thicken the base of this peanut butter yogurt dip.
Whipping the yogurt is best done after the yogurt has thickened. Whipping doesn’t actually thicken the yogurt itself, so a thickener like cornstarch should be added first.
