Long time Columbus folks probably have plenty of fond memories of Cup O’ Joe coffee shops over the years. I remember many grad school reunions and work sessions at the Lennox location with the giant coffee mug at the entrance.
While Cup O’ Joe has downsized (RIP Lennox, MoJoe Lounges in Easton, Downtown, Short North) or converted locations to Stauf’s (its parent company), this week it expanded with a new downtown location from East Broad Street, near CCAD. and the Columbus Art Museum.

Cup O’ Joe’s center is located in the Vera Building, a newer residential development on East Broad Street. The open space is decorated in natural woods, creams and light greens, and includes collections of tables and sofas, with narrow counters along the front windows.

Like Clintonville’s other remaining Copa O’ Joe (which is being renovated), the downtown one serves drip coffee, pour-overs, espresso drinks, iced drinks, hot cocoa and tea.

You will also find bagels, muffins…

…cookies, brownies, Rice Krispie treats and other snacks.

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I visited the Clintonville Cup O’ Joe, but the multicolored coffee case brought me back.

Downtown Cup O’ Joe hours are currently Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
