My 5 most important lessons in 5 years of JSHealth Vitamins

JSHealth Vitamins’ five-year journey so far has yielded many valuable insights. The adventure of starting and growing a business will invite you to discover extraordinary things about yourself – your skills, strength and determination as a human being. It will push you to your limits and challenge you in ways you never imagined. Still, I believe it strengthens you through all of this and teaches you so much.

I never thought that everything would turn out the way it is. JSHealth was a passion project that started long before there were any products. Born out of a heart’s mission, it was literally built from home with a small team of four extraordinary women (who are still with us today!). It started back then as a valuable platform to help women build better relationships with food and their bodies, which remains an important part of our mission.

Five years ago, I knew I wanted to take the issue of healthy living to another level for our community by developing formulations that targeted areas of wellbeing that I felt women needed support with. To be honest, it felt like an innate calling. This was the birth of JSHealth Vitamins and our first nutritional supplements.

I never imagined the company would be where it is today.

I firmly believe that this is due to our loyal customers. We started as a community-first brand and that’s what guides us today. That’s why so much attention is paid to the ingredients and details of every formula – they’re made for you with the utmost care.

Thank you for being with me on this journey. You keep me going and inspire me every day.

Lesson 1: We are stronger than we know.

We will find that out on every professional or personal journey. The challenges you face will prove how strong you are. Embrace the challenges and watch how easily you get to the other side – you might surprise yourself. This strengthens our inner core for life.

Lesson 2: Don’t sacrifice what matters most to you.

The business trip will be all-encompassing at times and can easily get out of hand. From the very beginning, I’ve made it my goal to always put the most important things first—my health, my peace, my husband, and my family. If you love your job, it will always be important. But I firmly believe that it should never take precedence over your family and your health. Staying grounded is key.

Lesson 3: Setting boundaries is crucial.

Set your limits with people, business needs, and your time. Remember: It’s okay to say no and prioritize self-care. Setting boundaries allows you to continue to master the journey.

Lesson 4: It’s all imperfect, so just keep going.

Nothing in this life is infinitely shiny, perfect, or glamorous as seen on social media or in the movies. let it be messy It doesn’t have to be perfect. It should not be. Actually, that’s the beauty of it. Once we surrender to imperfection, life can flow.

Lesson 5: Never give up.

You will want to do it several times during the trip. Hold fast to your heartfelt mission and heart purpose. Let the waves of challenge come and watch them go. Ride every wave and stay determined despite it all. Whatever happens, don’t give up. In the end you will be so thankful you persevered. When we survive difficult times, we reap the greatest rewards.
