Brown sugar

You can see how easy these are to make, but they’re wonderful with a cup of coffee in the morning. Anyone can make them and they’re perfect for brunch! Great to enjoy at the weekend as you can throw these together in no time and almost everyone loves them.

I didn’t try the Hawaiian Crescent Rolls in this recipe, but I bet those would be delicious too! These would be wonderful drizzled with one icing.

Simple treat with croissant rolls

  • 2 8 ounces Packets of Crescent Rolls
  • 1/2 Stick or 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 Cup from brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon with cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon from maple extract

Cinnamon/sugar topping

  • 1/4 Cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon with cinnamon
  • Roll out a sheet of crescent roll and pinch the perforations with your fingers to seal. Mix the butter, sugar, cinnamon and maple extract and spread over the entire sheet.

  • Unroll the other roll of croissant rolls and place them over the other sheet. Pinch all edges and perforations. Using a pizza cutter, cut 8-10 strips (cut at the smaller end of the rectangle).

  • Mix topping ingredients together in a flat plate. Roll each strip in cinnamon sugar and then turn and place on a baking sheet.

  • Bake on 375 for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 10-15 minutes and then serve.
