These Lemon Poppy Seed Protein Bites are the perfect little high protein treat. Fresh lemon flavor, easy to make, NO BAKING!
I love making protein bites! They require few ingredients, no time to prep, and are perfect for on-the-go and to-go. Enjoy them as a quick snack before or after your workout, or sip a few with your morning coffee.

WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED FOR LEMON POPPYSEED PROTEIN BITES?
- 1 cup almond flour
- 3 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder: I often switch between Orgain – vanilla bean and Earth Chimp – plain and unsweetened powders. Both are great options.
- 2 tsp poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
If you fancy a little, stirring in some extra lemon zest makes them all the more delicious and flavorful.
HOW DO I MAKE LEMON POPPY SEED PROTEIN BITE?
STEP 1: In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut flour, chia seeds, and poppy seeds.
STEP 2: Stir in maple syrup, coconut oil, and lemon juice. Blend until you have a moist, crumbly texture.
STEP 3: Roll the dough into small balls with your hands. Place them on a plate and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
STEP 4: Store in an airtight container in your fridge or freezer. HAVE FUN!
