La Brea Bakery, A North American producer of artisan breads, announced that it is launching a new plant-based brioche bun for the US foodservice and restaurant industry.

Described as a “re-imagined” take on brioche, the La Brea Bakery Brioche Bun delivers “the same hallmark buttery flavor” as the company’s original brioche bun. The new buns also have a mildly sweet flavor and the soft crumb brioche buns are famous for, the company says.

The bread is currently available at US food service and restaurant operators nationwide.
