Is Dairy Queen vegan? Not much.

Dairy Queen’s plant-based options are slim, and that’s why we’re calling on the chain to add more vegetarian menu items for 2023! Until then, if you’re in a situation where that’s your only option, here’s how to order vegan at Dairy Queen:

  • Non-Dairy Daily Bars
  • Misty Slush
  • French fries
  • Pretzel sticks (Ask for no zesty questions.)
  • Side salad (Ask for a plant-based dressing, such as a vinaigrette. When in doubt, check the ingredients on the back of the packet.)
Ask Dairy Queen for vegan options

Even if you’re not a fan of fast food, increasing accessibility to vegetarian options is more important than ever to help animals suffering in factory farms and reduce the harm animal agriculture is doing to our planet.

Restaurant chains Carl’s Jr., Baja Fresh, Pieology, Burger King and many others have added plant-based foods to their menus. But with no notable vegan dishes on its menu, Dairy Queen is falling behind its competitors.

Take action for animals and the planet: Ask Dairy Queen to add a new plant-based dish to the 2023 menu — including Quiznos, Five Guys and King Tacos.

*Menu items and ingredients subject to change. Some items may be prepared on shared surfaces with non-vegan food.
