Every Wednesday morning this summer you can get breakfast at the Columbus Commons with local food trucks! Sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, the breakfast food court runs Wednesdays from 7:30-10:30 a.m., from May through October, and features a trio of trucks serving breakfast and coffee. Currently they’re highlighting Galaxy Coffee, Broke Johnny Food Truck, and Biscuit Boss!

Galaxy Coffee, which debuted about a year ago, features a menu of brewed coffee, espresso drinks, tea, lemonade, and snacks.

Broke Johnny has been making the rounds for several years now in their black and yellow truck.

They serve a breakfast and brunch menu that covers waffles, sandwiches, burritos, huevos rancheros.

And Biscuit Boss goes all-in with a biscuit-centric menu. We see them regularly at the Worthington Farmers Market, too.

The feature a variety of biscuit sandwiches, sausage gravy, bowls, French toast bites, and more.

Their Bodacious sandwich gives you a little taste of everything: bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese on a French toast biscuit drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar.

On my most recent visit, I grabbed a cappuccino from Galaxy Coffee and a breakfast burrito from Broke Johnny.

The breakfast food trucks at the Commons are a perfect stop if you’re on your way to work downtown. The Commons is also nice and shaded and cool in the mornings, so it’s great for relaxing with breakfast and coffee.
