What you need for a mango margarita

You only need a few ingredients for this mango margarita recipe.

Frozen mango pieces: We like to buy pre-frozen mango chunks because it’s less of a hassle. Also, most grocery stores sell them in the frozen veg/fruit section.

lime juice: Be sure to squeeze your own fresh limes. It’s so much better!

Tequila: Always use a good quality tequila when making margaritas. Our favorite is Espolón.

Triple second: Triple Sec is an orange liqueur and is used in classic margaritas. It’s also slightly sweet.

Agave: Agave nectar is in traditional margins and adds extra sweetness.

Ice: Ice gives this margarita that amazingly squishy texture.

Do I need ice for a Frozen Mango Margarita?

Ice isn’t necessary for a mango margarita, but we find it gives your marg an amazing slush. So start by making it without, then add as you go.

Need more sweetness?

If you feel like your mango margarita needs to be sweeter, just add agave nectar or simple syrup to taste.
