Why you will love this recipe
I think we can all agree that quick and easy dinners are always a good idea! Especially those that don’t heat up the kitchen during the warmer months of the year. With summer in full swing, I grill outdoors as much as possible. The other day I was at a loss as to what to make for dinner, so I asked the family for suggestions. Someone shouted “Honey Barbecue Chicken!” Although I’m pretty sure they meant it fried Chicken, that’s the recipe that came to mind. This BBQ Chicken is flavorful, sweet and juicy tender! Full-flavored chicken thighs smothered in a homemade honey BBQ sauce are absolutely delicious!
What other chicken cuts can I use?
While I have used Boneless skinless chicken thighs Because they’re juicy and difficult to overcook, you can definitely use whatever piece of chicken you have on hand. Remember that the thicker the chicken piece (e.g. chicken breasts), the longer it will need to cook and reach a temperature of 165°F. You could also use bone-in chicken thighs or drumsticks, but that takes time much It will take longer to cook, so bear that in mind.

Do I have to use dark brown sugar in the Honey BBQ Sauce?
It depends. If you want the intense, hearty BBQ sauce flavor then I would say that you absolutely must use dark brown sugar. You can make it yourself if you have light brown sugar and molasses. For this recipe you would use 1/4 cup light brown sugar And 3/4 tsp molassesand stir with a fork.
