Dill Ranch Dressing – The Lemon Bowl®

This flavorful and flavorful Dill Ranch Dressing is made with just a few simple ingredients, including plain yogurt, fresh dill, and lemon juice. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s the perfect addition to any salad or veggie dip.

I can proudly say that I only use homemade salad dressings. They are fresh, healthier and much lower in calories. They also come together quicker than it would take for the trip to the store. Most of the time I already have the ingredients I need in my stash and it’s amazing how easy it can be to make! My Dill Ranch Dressing is one of my favorite dressings and is inspired by a dressing I used on a salad at a Cambridge diner when I was in college. It’s packed with fresh dill, making it a little spicier than your classic ranch, but delicious with any salad or raw veggies.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt: I like to use plain yogurt as a base for my ranch instead of mayonnaise because I find the dressing is creamier. You could probably still use mayo, but it would change the flavor and calories.
  • Olive oil: Emulsified with yoghurt and lemon juice and forms the basis for the dressing.
  • Fresh dill: Dill tastes great and has many health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and calcium.
  • lemon juice: Adds a bright, tart flavor that pairs well with fresh dill.
  • Garlic: Complements the classic ranch flavor with its aromatic, nutty flavor.
  • Horseradish: Adds a touch of spiciness to this homemade ranch dressing and rounds out the flavor profile.
  • Worcestershire: A sweet and salty sauce that gives body and umami.
