Oreo donut ingredients
You’ll be surprised at how simple the ingredients for these Oreo Donuts are! I’m sure your pantry already has this All Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Sugar, Oreos, And Salt. Might not cocoa powder, but you can! If not, this is a simple ingredient that can be found right in the baking section of any grocery store. There are some fancier ones out there, but good old Nestle cocoa powder works perfectly!
The wet ingredients are also usually kept indoors: Eggs, milk, vanilla extract and oil. See, you’re that much closer to having a delicious batch of Oreo donuts than you thought!

Tips for making this Baked Oreo Donut Recipe
- Generously grease your donut mold: It would be the worst thing if a batch of donuts got stuck in the pan after all that baking you just did! Make sure there is enough nonstick spray to avoid sticking problems!
- Fill the pan correctly: You will use almost all of the batter to fill your donut pan. Make sure you fill the donut spaces until they are almost 7/8 full. This allows enough dough to grow and form a rounded top. Also, use two spoons to fill the pan and thank me later.
- TRemove the donuts from the pan VERY gently: If you decide to bake these donuts in the shortest amount of time compared to the longer option, you’ll get tired of taking the donut out of the pan. Lay out a flat sheet (e.g. paper towel, kitchen towel, cling film) and gently tip the donut pan over and pat until they all come out. This flat surface ensures the tops don’t get ruined!
- Cream cheese in the glaze: It’s possible to skip using cream cheese in the glaze, but the consistency will be less thick. This ingredient keeps the frosting from falling off the donut, but also makes the frosting more like the “stuff” in Oreos!
