What’s not to love about a good breakfast sandwich? It takes the whole breakfast: eggs, meat, cheese, potatoes, bread and then combines it into a convenient stack. We often make breakfast sandwiches at home; they are compact, easy to make, adaptable to any taste or preference and very filling.
I also love a good breakfast sandwich when we go out for breakfast! Bob Evans has had breakfast sandwiches on their menu for some time, but new to their breakfast offerings is the Farmhand Biscuit Sandwich Platter.
The Farmhand Biscuit Sandwich Platter features a pair of breakfast sandwiches, one with sausage and one with bacon, topped with a freshly cracked fried egg and American cheese on Bob Evans Buttermilk Biscuits.
If that wasn’t enough, the sandwich duo is served with a choice of home fries, chips, or fruit (for me, of course!), and a small bowl of their house-made sausage gravy. Because the only thing that can make a breakfast sandwich better is a bowl of salsa for dipping, right?!
As you would expect, the meal is very hearty, it might even be great for sharing! I like that the sandwiches have both sausage and bacon. And with these butter cookies, every sandwich is a delicious bite.
If two sandwiches seem like too much, you can always order their buttermilk cookie sandwich from Sunrise Savers. Sunrise Savers is part of the American Values menu, which includes inexpensive but no less complete options that cover all your favorites. Breakfast options are priced between $4.99 and $7.99. The Buttermilk Biscuits Sandwich comes with a single sandwich with your choice of meat and side. *ahem* hash browns *ahem*
