I highly recommend serving this ice cream in cones, preferably Oreo or Chocolate Chip Cookie cones if you can find them at the grocery store, for the ultimate Cookie Monster ice cream flavor!

Cookie Monster Ice Cream
For this recipe you will need the following ingredients:
- whipped cream
- milk
- Sugar
- kosher salt
- vanilla extract
- blue food coloring OPTIONAL
- Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
- chocolate chip cookies

Recipe for Cookie Monster Ice Cream
Whisk together the cream, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla. Add blue food coloring and adjust the color as desired. Whisk again to combine.
Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions. While the ice cream is stirring, cut each cookie into 4 pieces.
Scatter 1 cup of cookie pieces in the bottom of a freezer-safe container. When the ice cream is ready, scoop half of the ice cream over the cookies in the container and sprinkle with 1 cup of cookie chips.
Spread the remaining ice on the container and cover with the remaining cup of cookie pieces. Freeze until firm.
