This collagen cookie dough recipe tastes like raw cookie dough but is actually healthy and is made with collagen peptides, oats, honey, and peanut butter.

Collagen peptides are something I’ve been incorporating into my daily diet since I was pregnant. Today we’re talking about collagen peptides and sharing our favorite recipe that we always have in the studio freezer.
What is collagen?
Collagen is part of the composition of animal bones, cartilage and skin. Collagen peptides are broken down parts of all collagen and have many benefits when ingested.
Benefits of Collagen
- improve skin
- improve joints
- nail health
- muscular strength
- hair health

What you need for collagen cookie dough
Collagen Peptides: Collagen is obviously the star of these cookie dough bites. We recommend using a vanilla flavored collage, but really any kind will work. You can use unflavored or really any other flavor. Our favorite brand is Vital Protein.

Oats: We recommend using quick-cooking oatmeal, but oatmeal will do, too.
Honey: We like to use honey because it is an all-natural sweetener.
Mini Chocolate Chips: Every bite of cookie dough deserves chocolate chips!
Water: Water is used to give you the true cookie dough texture!

How to Make Collagen Cookie Dough
- Gather ingredients: Place all ingredients minus the water in a medium bowl.
- Mix ingredients: Use a spoon to mix until combined. Add water, tablespoon at a time, to get desired cookie dough consistency.
- Roll into balls: Use a tablespoon spoon to scoop the cookie dough and roll into balls.
quick tip!
All peanut butter and collagen powder are different. So start with the water small and add more to get the desired consistency.
trades
collagen powder –> Protein powder: Feel free to use any type of protein powder in place of the collagen powder. We share our top picks below!
peanut butter –> Nut butter: Replace peanut butter 1:1 with almond butter or cashew butter.
Honey –> maple syrup: use maple syrup instead of honey.
