This vegan green smoothie recipe is delicious! Packed with chocolate, blueberry and peanut butter flavors, it’s the perfect way to get your veggies in!

Try this smoothie for breakfast or as a mid-day snack. Don’t worry about the spinach, because you won’t even taste it. The chocolate cocoa powder and maple syrup create the perfect amount of sweetness to offset the taste of the leafy greens.
This is one of my all time favorite smoothies. I’ve been making this every day for the past few weeks because it’s an easy and tasty way to get some green leafy vegetables into my diet! If you’ve been trying to find a vegan green smoothie that tastes delicious, this might be the one for you. It’s filled with chocolate peanut butter!

Freeze bananas for smoothies
I recommend that you peel and slice the bananas before freezing them. That way, you can use different amounts for different recipes instead of being stuck with a whole frozen banana when you don’t need it all. Place the slices in a bowl, making sure to put a piece of parchment paper between each layer so the banana slices don’t stick together. I learned this the hard way. Try to make each slice the same size and count how many slices the bananas are cut into to find out how many slices equal one banana. For example, I find that with a large banana I get about 12-14 slices, so if I want half a frozen banana in my smoothie, I use 6-7 frozen slices.
*If your blender is great, you may only need to cut the bananas in half before freezing. My blender is not very powerful so I have to use smaller parts.
