CHEESE SMOKED SAUSAGE PASTA PAN

Smoked Sausage Pasta Skillet - The Southern Lady Cooks

Smoked Sausage Pasta Skillet is a great comfort food and quick, easy meal. Just add some cornbread muffins and a salad. We love easy weeknight stir-fries that you can easily put together with very little time in the kitchen. This food is good in summer and winter. I like to use fresh garden tomatoes and peppers in this recipe during the summer.

Smoked Sausage Pasta Pan Ingredients needed:

Smoked Sausage

butter

Onion

Green pepper

Chopped Garlic

Salt

Black pepper

Hot sauce, optional

chicken soup

Diced tomatoes

Green chillies

Rotini pasta (could use clams, macaroni, penne)

Grated cheese of your choice (could use more cheese, I used mozzarella cheese)

This recipe is very versatile and easy to put together on a busy night. If you don’t like an ingredient like green peppers, just omit it or add something you like. You can also make this without pasta and serve it over rice for another easy and different dish. If you choose rice, you can always use cauliflower rice as well.

“The husband had seconds so it must have been pretty good. I didn’t add the hot sauce and used a can of rotel tomatoes and homemade chicken broth. It tasted very good.” – Kendra

“This is delicious!! I made this for dinner last night and loved it!! I omitted the hot sauce and used shredded cheddar, sooooo delicious!!!” – Nicole

“Made for dinner tonight, loved it, so easy to add touches of thyme and rosemary.” – Patricia
