What is Pride Month?
Every year, the month of June is dedicated to pride and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. It marks the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the groundbreaking protests for LGBTQ+ rights that took place in New York in the late 1960s.

There are many ways to support and uplift the queer community this month—you can buy from LGBTQ+ brands, support nonprofits and local organizations with your time or money, raise awareness about queer issues, and attend Pride events, which take place across the country.
