How to get Carrot Fries Crispy?

OK, I’ll be honest with you. Sometimes Air Fryer Fries aren’t the crispiest of fries.

Why? Because they’re air fried, not fried. Aside from that… you can still get one really delicious crispy roast with a hot air fryer.

Tips for Crispy Carrot Fries:

  • Don’t use too much olive oil when brushing your fries.
  • Try to space out the fries as much as possible so they have enough room to cook evenly.
  • Be sure to season gradually to keep the crispy exterior.
  • Eat them right away! The longer they sit and get cold, the less crispy they become.

Not all hot air fryers heat the same. While this recipe has been tested over and over again in our hot air fryer, (Kosori brand) you may find different results in your own.

If you’ve never made carrot fries in your air fryer, it’s a good idea to start with less time per side.

Start with 5 minutes and work your way up if this is your first time doing this. It’s better to undercook first and be able to cook more than to overcook them right away!
