These cookies are simple ingredients and easy to make. The combination of bananas, white chocolate chips, and vanilla wafers is so good. They’re a soft chewy cookie and then you add the topping and that just takes it to the next level. I was honestly shocked by how much they taste like banana pudding so I’m thrilled we made them and are adding them to the site. This recipe made about 30 cookies!
Make sure you use the INSTANT dry pudding mix, the way of cooking and serving is not what we are looking for. The instant pudding is what works in this recipe.

- 1 Cup white chocolate chips
Topping Ingredients:
- 4 1/2 tablespoon Dry vanilla instant pudding
- 1/2 Cup milk I used 2%
- 1 Cup whipped cream
- Vanilla waffles and crumbs for decoration
-
Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Put aside. Mash bananas.
-
In another bowl with mixer, beat melted butter together with white sugar and brown sugar. Add the bananas, vanilla extract and egg yolk, continue to mix.
-
Mix with the dry ingredients and mix with the blender. Fold in the vanilla wafer crumbs and white chocolate chips. Mix with spoon.
-
Spray or line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drop the cookie dough onto the sheet. I use about 2 tablespoons of batter for each cookie.
-
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes. Remove from the pan and let cool completely before adding the topping at the bottom. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
Topping Instructions:
-
Using a mixer, mix together the pudding mixture, milk and vanilla extract.
-
In another bowl, whip cream until peaks form. Using a spoon or spatula, fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
-
Spread over the cooled cookies. Can sprinkle on vanilla wafer crumbs and put a cookie on top for decoration.
I set the serving size to 10, which gives each person about 3 cookies.
