Oatly’s New Philadelphia Style Cream Cheese

Oatly’s has announced a limited release of its newest innovation, an oat-based cream cheese developed by Oatly’s Philadelphia-based food scientists, in the style of the famous Philadelphia spread.
The new plant-based cream cheese will launch exclusively in Philly before hitting the US market later this year. Local bagel chains Spread Bagelery and Philly Bagels will serve up “Oatley’s Philadelphia-Invented Cream Cheese” until March 31st or while supplies last.
“At its core, it’s a cream cheese with deep and authentic Philadelphia roots.”
Otley’s pre-launch release was announced with an official “first spread” by Philadelphia native and Olympic gold medalist figure skater, Tara Lipinski, as part of a strategy to lure Philadelphians.
“This cream cheese is an important step toward expanding our portfolio of delicious plant-based products, and we wanted to introduce it to the city where it was first invented,” said Leah Hoxie, SVP of Innovation at Oatly North America.
“At its core, it’s a cream cheese with deep and authentic Philadelphia roots,” he adds.
Bored Cow Original

Tomorrow Farm’s animal-free dairy brand, Bored Cow, announced a limited release of its latest product – Bored Cow Original – which will be available on the company’s website from 1st March.
The brand’s first cow-free milk range debuts in early June 2022 in three flavors – chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Udas cow’s milk is made from animal-free dairy proteins, called microbial proteins, developed by the California-based company Perfect Day.

Israeli precision fermentation company, Remilk, has announced two regulatory milestones: no FDA questionnaire and SFA regulatory approval for ANimal-free whey protein.
