Which pork chops can be used in an air fryer?

You can use any cut of pork chop in an air fryer, including thin or thick cuts, bone-in or boneless. The only thing to note is that cooking times will vary depending on the cut you choose and some may be drier than others. Thicker, bone-in cuts take longer to cook but are juicier. And boneless, thin cuts can dry out easily but cook quickly. Just keep that in mind when you decide.

Bone-in Pork Chops vs. Boneless Pork Chops

The main difference is that bone-in pork chops are less dry. The bone and fat in these cuts add flavor and release moisture, which can prevent the chops from becoming dry. However, lean, boneless pork chops also have some great benefits. When not overcooked, they’re not overly dry and cook in 10 minutes, helping to get dinner on the table in under 30 minutes. I cook both boneless and boneless pork chops depending on how much time I have to cook and what’s available at the store when I go shopping.

Seasoning for Air Fryer Pork Chops

Although I make my own spices, other store-bought spices can be used as well. BBQ Rub, Steak Seasoning, Fajita Seasoning, Berbere, and if you’re looking for something special, you can try this Ancho Espresso Coffee Rub.

If you want to try my spice mix, just keep the leftovers in a small jar and add to other recipes like grilled veggies, shrimp, or chicken.
