Else Nutrition tripled its production capacity with the opening of a second powder manufacturing facility in the US and production in Europe.
Else Nutrition recently opened a second powder manufacturing facility in the United States and announced commercial manufacturing operations in Europe in March 2023. With the added facility, Else could triple its production capacity.
As of the end of 2022, Else Nutrition had only one powder manufacturing facility operating, which handled the company’s sales both in North America and internationally. With two new manufacturing facilities, Else aims to rapidly increase demand from brick-and-mortar retailers and online sales through Amazon and Else’s own e-store. Thanks to the increased production volume, the risk of future supply interruptions will thus be reduced.
In January and February, Else conducted two commercial production campaigns in the United States, addressing many of the shortage issues. It otherwise plans to continue ramping up its production capacity throughout 2023 to meet rising demand and build higher levels of available inventory.
“The additional manufacturing facilities will enable us to stabilize production and build sufficient inventory to meet strong demand from our customers,” said Else CEO and co-founder Hamutal Yitzhak. “It fills us with excitement that we are now at a new stage in our journey, where leading grocers and mass retailers in North America are now stocking their shelves with our products. The ability to respond appropriately to this rapid growth in demand is critical to our success.”
