Cinnamon rolls are a traditional Northern European treat, usually made with a yeast dough and a sweet filling of cinnamon, sugar and butter. The type of cinnamon roll dough depends on what you’re trying to achieve: you can make a rich bread dough for fluffy buns, or you can make a puff pastry for flaky and crunchy strudel.
Either way, classic cinnamon rolls contain both eggs and dairy products made from butter and milk, so they’re non-vegetable. But we will show you how to make them vegan in this recipe. So if you have a milk or egg allergy or are vegan, you’ve come to the right place.
