An easy version of Chinese Egg Braised Pork Rice that you can make with your rice cooker. It’s a great way to add eggs to the rice cooker, eliminating the need to cook the eggs separately, and is ideal for those who can’t cook perfect hard-boiled eggs. Eggs cooked in the rice cooker are perfectly cooked through and easy to peel!
Ingredients:

185 g pork neck/belly
2 eggs, chilled
2/3 block Tau Kwa
2 clove
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
10 g fried shallot
1 cup of rice
1 & 1/4 cup water
Marinade:
1 tsp tapioca flour
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp rice wine/ mirin
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1/4 tsp Chinese Five Spice
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1/8 tsp white pepper
Optional: 1 tbsp shallot oil, 1 tsp sweet soy sauce, and some cilantro for garnish

Method:
