Rainbow fruit skewers are a fun and colorful way to enjoy a healthy snack or dessert!

Which fruit is best for kabobs?

Most fruits lend themselves well to making kabobs, so it just depends on the occasion. Some of our favorites are:

  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • oranges
  • pineapple
  • kiwi
  • blueberries
  • Grapes

How to make fruit skewers

To make rainbow fruit skewers, start by washing and slicing the fruit into bite-sized pieces. Then place the fruit on the skewers in rainbow order, starting with red fruit (strawberries or raspberries), followed by orange fruit (oranges or mango), yellow fruit (pineapple or banana), green fruit (kiwi or honeydew melon), blue fruit ( blueberries) and finally purple fruits (black grapes or blackberries).

Once the fruit is on the skewers, the skewers can be served immediately or refrigerated until ready to serve. We like to serve it with our favorite fruit dip.

  • 1 Middle orange
  • 1 Cup pineapple
  • 2 Middle kiwi
  • 1/2 Cup blueberries
  • 1 Cup black grapes
  • Cut the strawberries, oranges, pineapple and kiwi into large pieces.

  • Form a colorful rainbow with skewers from all the fruits.

  • Serve with your favorite fruit dip. Enjoy!
