How to Make Roasted Green Beans

It doesn’t get much easier than roasted vegetables! Here’s what we do:

  1. Wash, dry and trim the green beans
  2. Stir in oil and salt
  3. Then add to a parchment-lined baking sheet (for easy cleanup) and bake!

After baking for About 15 minutes In the oven 425 degrees Fahrenheit (218 Celsius)They become perfectly thorn tender and lightly brown on the edges — aka green beans perfection!

You can keep the green beans simple (we couldn’t stop eating them straight from the pan), or dress them up with lemon zest and almonds or sesame seeds.

Does it keep? 2-3 days

  • 12 oz Fresh green beans, washed and dried, trimmed
  • 1 table spoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea salt

Garnish optional

  • Slivered almonds or sesame seeds
  • Lemon flavor
  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (218 C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Place your green beans on a parchment-lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Toss to distribute the oil and salt evenly. Roast on the center rack for 15-17 minutes or until tender with a lightly browned exterior, tossing around the 8 minute mark.

  • Serve on the side or in a bowl, wrap or pasta or salad. Garnish options with toasted almonds, sesame seeds or lemon zest!
  • Fresh is best. Leftovers will keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a skillet (we prefer cast iron) over medium-high heat until hot. Not freezer friendly.
