Vegan Teriyaki Sesame Cauliflower Bites

Enjoy these saucy bites from HealthyGirl Kitchen as a flavorful starter or add to a grain bowl, use in a wrap or as a crunchy addition to a fresh green salad.

do you want:

1 head cauliflower
1 cup chickpea flour
1 cup vegan teriyaki sauce
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Half a teaspoon of ginger powder
½ teaspoon red chili flakes
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for topping

what do you do:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets and wash.
  3. In a medium bowl, add chickpea flour. Add the florets and toss until lightly coated with flour. Shake off any excess flour and place on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes.
  5. Dip the cauliflower in the sauce to coat thoroughly and place back on the baking sheet. Bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
