Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington, London. starting As the only delivery kitchen in Wimbledon, the founders opened their first flagship restaurant last month. Other plates on Vegan India’s menu include “delicious” vegetables with exotic Indian spices, plant-based chicken korma, meatless kofta chili masala, vegan shrimp and naan. “We proudly serve a plant-based menu, so you don’t have to worry about confusion with non-vegan dishes,” says the restaurant’s website.

Opening in February 2023, Niku Nashi will operate inside A Plant-based Bar (APB), a new concept featuring only vegan-certified alcohol, craft cocktails and vegan sushi. Niku Nashi’s menu is yet to be revealed. Still, chef Nico Zaragoza (from Oka Sushi, Teppanyaki House and Sushi R91) says it will use vegetarian seafood to create other protein options like crab rolls and roasted mitake mushrooms. Vegan chain Pastan, specializing in handcrafted pasta, recently opened a new restaurant in Bristol, often considered the UK’s vegetarian capital. Pastan offers a variety of pasta dishes, from carbonara to cacio e pepe or classic mac and cheese. It also serves salads and homemade tiramisu.

Simi’s World also adopts a zero-waste philosophy, recycling and upcycling its plant materials into fermented food or compost.

Kusaki, named after the Japanese word for “plant,” is a new Japanese-inspired plant-based sushi restaurant and omakase bar. The chef and his team, many of whom have previously worked at Michelin-starred restaurants, spent nine months creating a menu that “takes plant-based cooking to a level never before experienced.”

Kuzaki’s menu offers a wide range of appetizers and sushi and nigiri, noting that it sources the best vegetable produce from farmers markets throughout Los Angeles.

“Our mission is simple: serve delicious, cruelty-free food that’s 100% plant-based,” says the LA eatery.
