Easy Peach Crisp Rollups

Since I made these Strawberry Cheesecake Rollups, I became obsessed with trying different recipes using crescent rolls. One of my boys favorite foods is pigs in blankets, so I always keep several packs of croissants in my fridge.

It’s peach season!

We recently had some delicious peaches in our grocery store and I can’t get enough. (Look at all mine Peach Recipes HERE). I went to the grocery store and bought several peaches and thought about what I would do. It came to me to try to do a roll up with peaches and make it like a hand crisp with a yummy oat mix.

The best part is not only the taste and texture, but also the portion control. If I had a whole pan of peach chips in front of me, I would eat the whole thing. These little handheld rollups keep me accountable.

What is the difference between peach crisp and peach cobbler?

A cobbler is a deep baked fruit dessert with a thick cookie or pie crust. While a crisp is a baked fruit dessert topped with a crunchy layer of ingredients. I would definitely call that crisp.

How can you tell if peaches are ripe?

You can tell if a peach is ripe or not by gently but firmly squeezing it with your fingers (not hard enough to hurt it). If there is a little bit of sag, it means the fruit is almost ripe, but not quite yet.

You want a ripe peach – but not too ripe or too hard.

Do you peel peaches for a crisp?

Can you leave the skin on peaches for a chip? Yes! Because the skins of the sliced peaches soften during baking, they will be very tender when the rolls are done. I personally prefer to peel mine, but that’s just me. you do you!

Here are a few favorite peaches recipes from some of my favorite bloggers. Be sure to check them out!
