[2023 Review] Every single deodorant

An honest and non-sponsored review of each and every deodorant, including ingredients, usage and how long the product lasts. Updated January 2023.

Every and Every White Chamomile & Bergamot Deodorant

It’s been years since I shared a review of natural deodorant with you. After a falling out with a major clean deodorant brand over questionable business decisions and general moral ethics, I became disillusioned with many of the brands out there and mostly just stopped caring.

I’ve spent years trying to find the perfect brand (which I finally did) and collected a ton of different deodorants that I thought I’d just circle again until I found another brand I like .

I thought it was cool smelling bad and being pregnant, which didn’t feel like the right time to judge deodorant. But now that my hormones seem to have leveled out *somewhat*, it felt like I’d stepped on safer ground to re-test deodorants.

Today’s post is all about Every and Every Deodorant and my personal Each and Every Deodorant review.

Let’s get into that…

Who invented every single deodorant?

Each and Every was formed in 2017 except for Mikah Coffinaffer and Lauren Lovelady. Coffinaffer and Lovelady worked in beauty and were frustrated with the range of deodorants available. They wanted a safe and effective product with full ingredient transparency. When they couldn’t find one on the market, they decided to create their own.

Ingredients in every deodorant

Every deodorant contains a list of very simple ingredients that are made without any harmful chemicals or synthetic fragrances:

  • coconut oil – this allows the deodorant to slide without friction
  • tapioca starch – a natural antiperspirant, tapioca starch helps absorb moisture
  • sea-salt – both Dead Sea salt and piroctone olamine, which help neutralize odors
  • ozokerite – gives the deodorant structure so that it holds together
  • Essential Oils – different scents.

Their products are 100% aluminum and paraben free, vegan and EWG certified. They also offer one fragrance-free unscented version for sensitive skin.

Where can I buy each individual deodorant?

Every single deodorant is available online at their website. You can order deodorants individually or in sets.

I ordered the 10-pack travel kit (mini deodorants for a year) to find the scents I prefer. But you can also order 3-packs of your favorite full-size deodorants, or subscribe to save a little money.

You can also buy Each & Every on Amazon.

Does every single deodorant work?

In my honest opinion yes. Every single deodorant works.

I will say that I’m not a very sweaty person nor do I participate in very sweaty workouts, so a natural non-antiperspirant deodorant works for me and my lifestyle. If I’m feeling particularly sweaty I’d just reapply, but honestly that rarely happens. I can usually only apply once in the morning and I’m good for the day.

One of the things I love most about Each and Every deodorant is that it doesn’t contain baking soda. While I don’t have a problem with baking soda as an ingredient, I find that I can’t put baking soda-based deodorant on my armpit skin immediately after shaving. It will evoke a reaction for me almost immediately.

I had to remember to shave the night before or I couldn’t put on deodorant that day. This isn’t a problem with Each and Every as it doesn’t contain baking soda.

My personal favorite scents are Lavender Lemon Deodorant, Cedar and Vanilla, and the Limited Edition White Chamomile and Bergamot.

Is All Deodorant Pregnancy Safe?

Yes, all of the ingredients in Each and Every are suitable for both pregnancy and breastfeeding. I know some people tend to sweat more during pregnancy and/or postpartum so you may need to reapply but sure you can.

Anecdotally, I actually sweated less and generally smelled less during pregnancy, so I’ve never found myself having to reapply. Early after birth was a different story…I’m not sure any deodorant would have lasted through this stage.

Does all deodorant stain clothes?

In my experience, no, it doesn’t. Some people seem to think it is, but I haven’t noticed it leaving any stains on my clothes. In fact, the only deodorants that have ever stained my clothes have been traditional antiperspirants.

Overall, I really enjoy using Each & Every deodorant. I like the wide range of fragrances and the transparency of the ingredients. I like that they have a recycling program (read more here), put plant-based packaging and sustainability at the forefront of their business. What I find most important is that their deodorants work.
