Apple strudel twists

No wonder I love apple recipes. I mean I have a TON of these apple recipes on my side. Anyone who knows me knows that I always have apples in my fruit basket and

But swirl twists?? This is my first recipe for it! I mean I have Apple Cream Cheese Breakfast Pastries and Apple hand pies and Caramel Apple Pudding Cake but these whirlpool twists were a first.

I’ve made them multiple times to get the recipe just right, and man. My kids loved every batch I’ve made!

What is the most popular type of strudel?

Although strudel varieties contain other fruit fillings like cherry and apricot, apple strudel is by far the most popular.

Strudel dough made from scratch can be difficult to replicate and very time consuming, so I decided to use puff pastry sheets instead of homemade dough to make this recipe easy and quick.

This version will save you some time in the kitchen and give you more time to socialize as you prepare these for your next Christmas party. 🙌🏻

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I make apple pie every year! This year I’m making this apple pie strudel twist recipe with the BakeGood™ apple pie filling.

I love that there is no added sugar so I can control how sweet I want it. This is so useful that I can change the recipe depending on who is going to eat it.

What is the best way to make apple strudel?

There are many ways to prepare apple strudel and apple strudel twists. I love taking the easy route and buying puff pastry sheets. That way I know for sure the strudel will have a flaky, crunchy, buttery exterior.

Then I make sure to fill the strudel turns with the best possible filling – BakeGood™ Apple Pie Filling!

Have you tried their fillings before? You are unbelievable. They taste like a cake your mom or grandma makes from scratch at home. They have pieces of fruit in them and are so delicious.

They are unsweetened and you can choose your sweetener (e.g. maple syrup, stevia, erythritol, etc.). Use as little or as much sweetener as you like (recommendations are on the packaging, which is great!)

BakeGood™ Apple Pie Fillings contain no artificial preservatives, no added coloring, are easy to make and only available at Walmart at a great price.

I love the holiday season and can’t wait to try these apple strudel twists again and again this season! Try them and let me know how they turn out. Don’t forget to serve with some ice cream or whipped cream on the side!
