If you’re looking for a fun treat to make for this kids this Valentine’s Day then try my Strawberry White Hot Chocolate.

It’s a simple homemade hot chocolate made with frozen strawberries and milk, gentled heated with white hot chocolate pieces.

Absolutely delicious and warming at this time of year.

served in a pretty glass mug and garnished with squirty cream, mini marshmallows and heart shaped sprinkles.

Start off by blitzing frozen strawberries and milk in a blender. This blender is quite powerful so can handle the frozen strawberries.

If you are using something like a smoothie maker, allow the strawberries to defrost for an hour first, as it will making blitzing them much easier.

Ingredients being added to a food mixer.

Once the strawberries and milk are blended together, add to a saucepan on the hob.

Break in chunks of the white hot chocolate and heat gently for a few minutes until the milk has warmed and the chocolate has melted.

Be careful not to let the milk come to the boil.

White chocolate being broken into pieces and added to the milk.

Serve immediately with any toppings that you like. I used whipped cream, marshmallows and sprinkles.
