In case you missed the recent news, the owners of Kittie’s Cakes in German Village and Bexley have purchased Highline Coffee in Old Worthington!

Expect some changes and updates in the future, but for now Kittie’s Highline, as it’s called, remains the cozy corner space in the historic district. The back room is still occupied by Shift Studios, and some of the wall space is still dedicated to the Highline Art Space featuring local artists.

The biggest change is a new spread of Kittie’s cakes, which appear front and center on the counter.

This includes everything from cupcakes to scones to cinnamon rolls, garlic cakes and jam cookies.

You’ll often spy new owners Steve and Diane Herman behind the counter.

For now, Kittie’s continues to serve One Line Coffee, which Highline proudly featured, although Kittie’s uses Portland’s Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

We’ve loved the Highline and are excited to have Kittie’s in the neighborhood, and we’re curious to see how they expand on their success.
