Looking for an easy and delicious way to enjoy hamburgers any day of the week? Look no further than the air fryer! This versatile kitchen gadget allows you to cook perfectly juicy hamburgers in just 10 minutes while retaining that perfect grilled flavor. And the best? They’re just as tasty – if not tastier – than burgers on the grill. So next time you fancy a classic burger, skip the grill and opt for the air fryer for a quick and filling meal.
Ground beef substitute
Minding your beef consumption or just looking for a change? Try substituting in some ground turkey, chicken, lamb, or pork for a tasty twist! Just keep in mind that cooking times may vary slightly depending on the type of meat used. Ground turkey and chicken tend to be leaner, so they may need a little more cooking time to ensure they are fully cooked. On the other hand, ground lamb and pork are generally fatty and may cook slightly faster. If you’re using a leaner meat, you can also add some oil or broth to keep it moist while cooking.

freezer instructions
You can freeze your homemade burger patties to give you a head start on future meals! Simply shape the burgers as instructed on the recipe card below. Place them on a plastic wrap-lined baking sheet, then cover with plastic wrap. Freeze for 1-2 hours to set, then wrap the burgers back in another sheet of aluminum foil. They will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months. Let the hamburgers thaw in the refrigerator overnight before preparing them.

Storage and reheating instructions
This recipe is for 4 burgers. If you have leftovers, you can store the burger patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 4 days. We recommend not storing the burgers with the toppings and buns on, otherwise they will get mushy. Store separately for best results. You can also use your fryer to reheat the patties. Preheat to 350 degrees F, then cook for 2-4 minutes.
