Chicken Caesar Salad (with homemade dressing!)

Our Chicken caesar salad consists of crispy vegetables, cooked chicken and our homemade Caesar dressing. It’s ready in under 30 minutes and is best topped with grated Parmesan cheese (of course!).

Whenever the menu says Chicken Caesar Salad, I almost always order it! It’s filling and crunchy, and I’m a big fan of Caesar salad dressing.

I think it’s great that you can buy a rotisserie and put all the ingredients on it. Or? You can make pan seared chicken, baked chicken breasts or even this Parmesan Crusted Chicken for an extra crunchy twist.

What you need for the Chicken Caesar Salad

  • ROmaine Salad: Romaine lettuce is the base of this salad. We love how crispy and crunchy this salad is.
  • Boiled Chicken: You are welcome to use any type of cooked chicken. Our Pan Seared Chicken Breasts are easy and a great option for this Chicken Caesar Salad recipe.
  • Caesar salad dressing: We recommend making homemade Caesar dressing, but you can use store-bought dressing as well. Check out our homemade twist below.

Substitutions + Variations

Use a different protein: Have fun with this salad recipe and use a different protein! First, try one of the following methods:

Add more veggies: Why skimp on veggies when you can actually pack them in? Add whatever you have in the fridge, e.g. B. peppers, broccoli, cauliflower or celery.

Go vegetarian: Do you hope it stays vegetarian? Just remove the chicken breast and anchovy paste.

Our favorite Caesar salad dressing

Our homemade Caesar salad dressing is really good. It’s creamy, flavorful and easy to make at home. The only thing we really did differ from the classic Caesar dressing is that we replaced the raw egg yolks with mayonnaise and used some Greek yogurt. Here’s what you need to make our homemade Caesar dressing:
