Blondies plus white chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, and a powdered sugar glaze make the most delicious dessert!
We loved this Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread so much I thought a Blondies version would be in order. The banana bread is great as a snack or even for breakfast, while these blondies are definitely sweeter and are best for dessert!
Enjoy!
A magical blondie brownies recipe with cinnamon sticks and white chocolate chips, topped with a sweet glaze! But the best part is that they’re one-bowl blondes!!
Ingredients
- 1 Cup butter melted
- 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar packed up
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups white flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup cinnamon chips
- 1 Cup white chocolate chips
glaze
- 1/2 Cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon milk or 1 1/2 tbsp, until desired consistency is reached
instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray a 9-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.
-
In a large glass bowl, melt the butter. Then stir in the brown sugar. Once the batter is smooth, add the eggs and vanilla and mix again until the batter is smooth. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix until a dough forms. It will be thick.
-
Fold in the cinnamon chips and white chocolate chips with the spoonula, then transfer to the prepared casserole dish. Press the dough/dough into an even layer.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 32 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before glazing and slicing. **Note: I prefer these to be completely cool before glazing, but this requires a bit more patience! If you’re glazing while warm, the frosting will be a coated frosting rather than a spray frosting since it will melt on the warm blondies. Enjoy!
