Welcome to the kitchen of my dreams! This post is all about kitchen appliances and my experience at Warners’ Stellian home appliance store in Twin Cities.
It has always been a dream of mine to design and build a kitchen from scratch that really suits my personality and style. None of this would have been possible without my amazing partner, Warners’ Stellian, who sponsored our beautiful Thermador Panel enabled devices.

They have convenient showrooms that save you time with the small-shop experience, but you still get the same (or better) prices than the big-box stores.
Simplify the process: Their knowledgeable appliance specialists simplify a very complicated process by asking the right questions to match you with appliances you’ll be happy to bring home with you. Today’s consumers often spend a lot of time “researching” by reading reviews and getting the opinions of friends.
The process
This is my first experience building a custom kitchen and my god was that a long experience? I thought I would share a little bit about the process of how everything goes in terms of devices.
- Step 1: Showroom Experience: Before I even started kitchen design, I walked into a Warners’ Stellian showroom to find out what types of appliances I liked and didn’t like. I met with the Warners Stellian team and shared my budget and style with them. From there I was able to navigate to a specific brand and product. It was then that I decided I wanted to go for panel prep to give my kitchen a seamless, modern look.
- Step 2: Kitchen Design: I worked with an interior design team to plan my kitchen so I knew exactly what size appliance I needed.
- Step 3: Device selection: I took the design to Warners’ Stellian showroom to work more closely with the team in selecting and ordering the exact devices I wanted. It was then that I fell in love with a 4 burner + griddle stove that I couldn’t do without! I also decided at the last minute that I wanted a beverage fridge on the island for all that fizzy water I drink. We placed the order very early in the whole process to ensure they were in stock and ready to go at the right time!
- Step 4: kitchen expansion: The kitchen expansion took the longest! Many things need to be done before the appliances are installed (flooring, cabinetry, lighting, etc.).
- Step 5: Installation of device and panel: Once the equipment installation was tackled, I worked with Warners’ Stellian team to supply and install both the equipment and panels, which was extremely convenient. I didn’t have to worry about finding an additional contractor to do any of this. The panels were measured and cut to size by our carpenter. After the equipment itself was installed, Warners’ Stellian team assembled the panels and hardware. Insertion: happy face.

You’re probably asking yourself: Which devices did I choose?! After going through the entire buying process, I settled on panel-enabled Thermador devices. Not only do they fit seamlessly with my kitchen design and cabinetry, but they are a quality product that I just couldn’t say no to.

Thermador devices
- Refrigerator: The refrigerator is definitely an eye-catcher in the kitchen. It features a floor-to-ceiling panel and the largest storage space I’ve ever seen in a refrigerator. It also has a smart open feature. All you have to do is tap on it and it will open!
- Dishwasher: The dishwasher isn’t huge, but it has three levels and I can fit so much!
- Beverage Center: This was a last minute addition and I’m so glad we did! Extra drink storage is important, especially for all that La Croix we drink.
- Area And extractor hood: Once you’ve grilled, you’ll never come back! My husband is a big breakfast guy and a 4 burner stove + griddle was the best decision we’ve ever made!
- Microwave: I never thought I would be a fancy microwave girl, but now I am! Microwaves are a bit of a pain, so I’m glad this pull-out microwave is tucked away on the island.
